A cracked supply line at 2am, a water heater that quit on a Sunday, a slab leak that's been climbing your water bill for weeks — whatever brought you here, our Newark-based crews are already staged and ready to roll.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in NJ, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
Experience matters here — a technician who's replaced a hundred water heaters spots the corroded shutoff valve or undersized gas line before it becomes a callback. That's the level of eye we send to every Newark job.
Training doesn't stop after licensing. Our Newark team runs regular refreshers on code updates, new fixture technology, and the material mix specific to Newark, NJ construction, so a repair holds up to inspection, not just to a quick test run.

Whether it's a pilot light that won't stay lit or a full tank-to-tankless conversion, our technicians are certified on both gas and electric systems common in Newark, NJ homes.
Rather than opening walls on a hunch, our technicians run listening equipment across the suspected line first, marking the leak within a foot or two before any cutting begins.
We replace failing shutoff valves and supply lines as part of fixture work rather than reconnecting new fixtures to old, brittle hardware that's likely to fail next.
